Ned Williams will be launching his new book – “Brierley Hill, Round Oak, Harts Hill, Level Street, Merry Hill, Quarry Bank, Mill Street, The Delph, Silver End and Hawbush” (as Ned says, possibly the longest book title ever!) – on Friday 4th March 2011 at Bank Street Methodist Church starting at 7pm.

Come and inspect the book, meet the author etc….

Refreshments and “surprise items”!

This book covers the eastern end of the town centre, Round Oak, Harts Hill, Level Street, Merry Hill, Quarry Bank, Mill Street, The Delph, Silver End and Hawbush.

The Mount Pleasant Local History Group is now starting work on the next book in this series: “Brierley Hill at Work”. If you worked in Brierley Hill and would like to be interviewed for this project – do please get in touch. (We want to meet people who did many different kinds of work.)
