In March we welcomed Wendy Fryatt of the Black Country Foodbank, another speaker well worth considering, who gave a comprehensive illustrated talk about the way the Foodbank in the Black Country
operates. The organisation helps vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of 3 days emergency food supplies issued on production of a voucher received from social
services or a doctor’s surgery etc., while a long term solution is developed. The foodbank runs entirely on donations.
