In 2007 the National Youth Theatre established its first regional base in the Black Country, in Brierley Hill.

With the support of the Brierley Hill Regeneration Partnership and Dudley Council this exciting new initiative aims to engage with young people through the arts in order to raise their aspirations and help them to realise their talent.

National Youth Theatre at Brierley Hill is working with local community organisations and educational establishments to recruit young people and those with little access to the arts or culture. It now plays a significant role in the social and cultural regeneration underway in the town.

When the steel industry collapsed in Brierley Hill, its heart and soul was lost. National Youth Theatre at Brierley Hill is helping to put it back.
