Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company (BHMTC) are seeking two leading Male performers to play the parts of Jerry Lukowski and Noah (Horse) Simmons in the multi award winning musical, The Full Monty. The musical is based on the 1997 Oscar-nominated film about unemployed steel workers who form a male striptease act to raise money. Jerry, (played by Robert Carlyle in the hit movie) is one of the redundant steel workers who, in desperation, considers going ‘the full monty’ in order to raise money to regain custody of his son. Jerry is a high tenor part ideally played by an actor in his 30’s. The part of horse is ideally played by a mature black man; the character dances the funky chicken whist singing his debut song ‘big black man’. The company will perform this hit show at Brierley Hill Civic hall in October, using the set and scenery as used on the professional West End production!

BHMTC would also like to hear from talented male and female performers to audition to join the chorus.

Anyone interested should contact the producer Chris Psaras on 07817 478292 or email info@bhmtc.co.uk full details can be found on www.bhmtc.co.uk or find us on Facebook.
