THE Tab Operatic Society is getting set to stage much-loved musical Annie in Brierley Hill.

The popular show about a plucky, flame-haired orphan will run at Brierley Hill Civic Hall from March 27 to March 31.

Amber Hughes, aged 12, from Halesowen, stars in the title role; while Stourbridge actor John Leeming will be playing billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks, who decides to lift the sparky red-head’s fortunes by adopting her; and society regular Louise Griffin stars as Warbucks’ kind-hearted assistant Grace Farrell.

The show will also include appearances by professional performing pooches – Suzy and Danny the dogs, the latter of which spent ten years playing Annie’s dog Sandy in a national touring production.

Tickets, priced £11 to £12.50, and are available from Diane Bate on 07722 417962
