I thought I would check out the new ‘Community Forum’ meetings set up by the council. I was impressed -community issues came first, then councillors issues before the official business of approving grants took place. Councillors even welcomed the interaction with twitter!
The former Higgs offices in Brierley Hill, on the corner of High Street and Pearson Street, is being converted into flats with retail outlets underneath. 28 flats are being created. The building was built in the early sixties on the site of what had been The Odeon cinema in Brierley Hill.
